If TAA is so wonderful, how come no one is speaking up about its benefits? I see many going back to school, are these people the ones who benefited from the program? Are others still walking into walls? Your experience?

Not many, if any, have qualified for it. - I tried, got turned down.

They actually called MQ from the UE office and asked about layoffs and they said I am not laid off. So, they told me I was not eligible.

I am tired of the fight myself, so I just found another job that will shortly be starting and I am going to put myself through school once again.

No help except from myself.

I don't think many have qualified. I am not sure how MQ even got a certification number, unless there is a whole boatload of people that don't come on this site that got laid from from the Q.

I don't get it at all. It seems pretty simple. We have been adversely affected by trade. Do we need lawyers to help the state workers do their job?

I went back to college but still employed so not under TAA. However, even if I was unemployed, I would not have qualified because TAA has very narrow criteria. It won't pay to go for a degree (such as bachelors). It's basically just for vocational education, and no more than 2 years, e.g. truck driving. It also has to be a vocation approved by the government. Of course, if that is what you want to do, it's great, provided you were actually laid off.

Been sick all weekend. Have a sinus infection that hurts when I touch the side of my face and my eye is all scratchy and can't hardly see. So my company has been bought out by the Q, of course with the assumption that all of us will want to jump from the sinking ship --->into the cold ocean??? I am a small MTSO. I had a pretty big hospital account that went to ES VR 2 years ago. The fallout for the hospital has been rather profound. They offered me 16 for straight and 8 for VR.
