first you're asked to register to test. You do so, you try to log in, and I was told I've already completed the test and to wait for further instructions or be contacted by a recruiter.

what kind of crap is that?? This company has to be a shill for career step. Pretty shady procedure, you're still registered in their system, but you can't get into the website to apply for an opening posted on here. Their website also says they have no openings at this time.

This company doesn't know what the H they're doing.

They're a decent company. Looks like their link is broken. Did you write them to let them know that you were having an issue on their website or did you just decide that because you were having an issue on their website, you'd come here and bash them instead?

I've worked for them. Pay isn't the highest but the work was steady and decent. The two gals who run it are decent. Not the best gig I ever had but surely not the worst. Were I looking for work, I'd definitely go back to them.

So that's the low-down from someone who worked for them and knows they do know what they are doing :) But then, maybe you just wanted to bash, in which case, go right ahead. But if you want a job, maybe email them :)

Has anyone else taken the test for WordMed.Biz? I'm curious to know if someone passes this very easy test and is given an interview. I've got over 25 years experience as a MT and took their very EASY test really quickly. Actually, I was surprised at how easy it was. Before going to the final part of the testing, I was informed I didn't pass the first section. Really???? I'm thinking it is just an excuse to get you to take their MT course. I've lost count ...

Don't waste your time testing for WordMed.Biz unless you just want to get some practice in and you have time to waste. Just know that no matter how well you do on their test, you will be told you did not pass and you will be encouraged to pursue additional training with Career Step. Sometimes I'm not sure what to do when they say "post" ... something. I know if it is postauricular (for example), it is attached ... but how about post aneurysmal surgery? I know exactly the company you are talking about and have wondered the same thing. The person who wrote the rules must not have a full understanding of the VR program. At this company, we are supposed to adhere to the account specifics to a T if we type on the account, but if we get a VR job on that same account we are supposed to ignore the account specifics and leave it as VR puts it unless there are blatant errors.
