anyone elses on here, if anything I make 4 cpl for VR and 8 for straight and from what I see here, other places offering less right now. Oh, by the way, on that "low pay" I am able to make over $20.00 per hour so I do not consider it too bad.

Low pay is how you compare 2 companies. Low pay (or no pay) is what you get with a company that offers 6 cents a line but has NJA most of the time, OR, you can make 3 to 4 cents a line with a company that NEVER runs out of work. You'd be amazed at how fast it adds up to a decent paycheck.

pays 6 cents per line and keep a part-time gig on the side (not MT related and outside the home) before I take a job for 3 cents a line.
Im sorry, but I just dont see that adding up to decent pay check. Where I work, running out of work is usually not a problem unless its the holiday season (like now) but even then, I think thats industry wide for this time of year depending on what shift you work, mainly 1st shift.
If you are able to flex some and work in the evenings, then you can get the majority of your hours in. No way could I even imagine working for 3 cents per line. Thats ridiculous no matter how you look at it.

4 cpl, 3 never talked about. I do well enough with what I make. I am able to edit, type with the speed as fast as it can go and therefore able to make what I want.

Straight typing is only 6 cpl. I turned down a job with them a few months ago because the pay was an absolute joke. Don't even bother!

I've had nothing but a good experience with TTS. They offered me what any other company has offered me in the past year and the account I'm on is easy enough to edit at close to 600 lph, transcribe at 300-400 lph.

Approx pay at TTS: 3 CPL on Escription, 4 CPL on the other platform. I can't remember the name of it. I think it's EditScript.

I live in the state with the highest listed minimum wage in the country, and I usually easily double that by doing my normal editing at TTS. I still haven't figured out why there are so many MTs that can't make any money at ALL doing this job. I didn't make much money when I was first doing this because I wasn't very disciplined about it, but even now with three kids at home to take care of I still average anywhere from $20-$40/hour, depending on how much I keep my butt in the chair of course.

But there are plenty of MTs on my Facebook and in the chatroom that I frequent who can attest to it. I have no need to prove it, I'm just saying that there are those of us who DO make a good living in this industry, because we work hard for it.

On my first hour finished today (all at 4 cpl), averaged $24.00+.
So strange to see dislikes on job seekers board for TTS. I think MTStars should charge for advertising so it doesn't get junked up by companies with huge turnover constantly advertising and leave space for independent companies with legit jobs and not revolving MT door jobs. ...
