Does anybody know about Transcription Doctors? I would like feedback from someone who works for them or has worked for them regarding timely pay, work load, do they require weekends, etc. Thanks!

The only thing they require is a pulse, which shows in the quality (or lack thereof). The pay stinks, IF you get paid. They are parasites to SGS and Chase Transcriptions, so there is plenty of work. Plenty until these MTSOs wake up and realize the garbage this company is sending their clients. TTD does not have their own accounts - they are an overflow company. The account specifics on the accounts are pages and pages and all different. If you like wading in quicksand, enjoy working for a company that has no organization whatsoever, doesn't care about the MTs/QA they hire or the reports they submit, and cares only about the lines an MT can produce to put money in the bank for the 2 that run the outfit - this place is for you. But don't just read my post - look at the many, many others.

already complained. I have been hearing about this terrible "company" for a long time on this forum. How can this continue with no repercussions?

I was offered a job with this company last week and came in here asking about them and read their previous complaints. I decided NOT to work for them because I want to be sure I am paid (which I am with my current company although they are slow @ times with work) and will wait for a possible other opportunity.

"Money talks and BS walks?" Sounds like it is true in the case of TTD and the accounts they contract with. Not had personal experience with this company but would guess the frightening conclusion is neither care about the quality of the reports nor the MTs they hire and are not willing to pay a decent CPL to employ and sustain qualified, professional MTs.

Certainly hoping some entity intercedes and rectifies this situation sooner than later.

To the poster who posted below looking for information on TTD. They don't have their own accounts. They work for Superior Global and maybe others. Superior pays them to find ICs. They probably pay them 4 cpl and then TTD pays you a cruddy 3 cpl to edit VR reports. They don't offer direct deposit because Superior is paying them and then they pay you, which is why you have to wait a month for your check. I recently graduated form CS and I have been looking for a job for the past 2 weeks. TTD offered me a job without doing any testing and I thought that was odd. My recommendation is to have any MT who feels her time is valuable to Stay very far away from this company. I am going to be very careful in how I word this. Company did not pay me correctly. I started working for them over 6 weeks ago and have NOT gotten paid YET. I know there has been discussion that that happens but we're going on almost 2 months now and nothing. They have an ad on this site hiring at 8 cents and 3 cents for straight typing and editing. But, on another site, they have an ad for the same exact thing but the pay is 7 cents for straight typing and 2.5 cents for editing! Are you kidding?!?!?!?! I hope no one applies for that job, even if you are desperate! So glad I am getting out of this line of slave work. ...
