A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
I assume you are asking about RTP Transcription of Raleigh, North Carolina
From doing some research, I found out that RTP Transcription went by the name Medline Inc from 1999 to May of 2005, when the name Medline Inc was dissolved by the Secretary of State of North Carolina because they had failed to file any annual reports. That may be when they started using the name RTP Transcription. This is public information from the North Carolina Secretary of State website.
Not sure exactly what year they started using the name RTP Transcription because there were still questions about Medline Inc in February of 2007.

Anyway, if you search the MTStars Archives for Medline Inc, there is a post by someone who was asked to transcribe 30 minutes of dictation as the test. That poster was of the opinion that she was asked to transcribe current jobs as testing dictation (in other words, people applying for jobs were transcribing actual live dictations and not being paid for it).

I am not saying they are still doing that, and those accusations could be totally unfounded to begin with, but if you apply with them, you might want to be vigilant if they ask you to transcribe an unusual amount of dictation that may be current and that they want back asap.
Just apply with caution.
Good Luck
