QA/MT from a Peons point of view - jest an old MT

PA MT and others -- I have recently started for a company, where I am transcribing as well as doing QA/Management.  Getting paid hourly for one and salary for the other.  At some point down the road, I will probably be hiriing MTs as well.  It is not easy, because I started out doing QA, then, having to transcribe on several accounts to make siure that when QA is done, it is done properly.

Another thing to be considered when there is "lack of work" is the fact that there might be one or more services working on that account.  We have several platforms that are used and being in QA,  I am able to see which company has which jobs.  Not everything is going to India, but for an example, my MTSO has several accounts.  Some of those are competing with other MTSO accounts.  It happens, it's business.  I just lost a WONDERFUL job recently, paid weekly and little did we know that in the process of things, the account was going to another service. 

If frequent NJA --- my guess would be that the company is in the process of going with someone else.
