So, has anyone heard that DTSOK is not doing so well...Why do they keep hiring. One more question, does anyone have trouble getting the 1200 required lines a day? I am on a straight typing account and do not think I have had the same dictator twice...

I haven't heard anything about how they are doing but I can't imagine anyone stays working there for long. At first there was plenty of work until they started overhiring...now I can't even begin to get enough lines. I know they have turnaround to meet but in my opinion everything was being kept current, but they still hired more people. I hate to keep moving around.

I worked for them, never could make 1200 lines a day with the account I had. I would work 9 to 10 hours a day. I was never called on it. Guess they didn't care how many hours you worked as long as you worked. You never put the hours on your timesheets. Still I made less than minimum wage so finally gave up and quit.

I responded to DTSOK's job posting on another board 2 weeks ago. Within a couple hours, I received an email from their recruiter, indicating that I should take the test that day, as they were planning to talk to people that week. I did this. A day later, I received an email from the transcription manager, indicating that I had passed the test, and asking if I was still interested, and asking me to respond to her with the best time for her to call me. This company expects the impossible out of their workers while accepting horrible quality audio. First, you have a recruiter calling and praising your qualifications (not to mention taking a 5 part transcription test) and then when you decide to accept their job offer, they put you on an okay audio quality account, but then the 2nd week rolls around,( you are in a different account) and you find yourself replaying the audio and struggling to understand in the midst of static and other ...

They had said to try to take the test before the weekend so that they would have a chance to look at them and that they would get back to us immediately if we didn't pass the test. They also said they would be setting up interviews on Monday. Today is Wed. and still haven't heard anything. Just wondering if anyone else has heard back from them. Thanks ! ...
