ChartNet - Thank you! - You were all correct

I posted a couple of weeks ago asking for everyone's input on ChartNet. Everyone posted positively and, as usual, you were right. It's a great platform, really easy to learn and VERY MT-friendly. I also got lucky and the dictators are excellent, too, so the whole experience has been wonderful.

Thanks to all who reassured me and to anyone else wondering, yes, ChartNet is the bomb!

I am tired of being angry and depressed at MQ. I need a change desperately. I have heard good things about Chartnet. Do you know who uses it?

I don't know what kind of platforms everyone used before chartnet, but I liked mine better than this. Don't get me wrong, there are features of chartnet that I like.. but wow, it is so frustratingly SLOW when loading patients, bringing the information in... etc. etc.etc it's like how much time am I wasting WAITING for this system... I dont know if that depends on the account or what... but I am NOT impressed and I just have to wonder what kind of platforms the ones that are in love with Chartnet worked with before... I had a platform by Spheris... and it was entirely user friendly... what am I missing about chartnet?

ChartNet was the first platform I ever used. Since then I have been on at least 5 others and ChartNet was by far the best. Are there some platforms better than ChartNet? I am sure there are, I just have not found them yet :-)

I previously worked on ExText and am now working on Chartscript. I think Chartnet blows both of them away. To the person who says it is slow loading, etc., I wonder if that is not more of an issue with the company you are working with. Speed was not an issue with what I have to compare it with.

The sound quality is just absolutely horrible. I can't believe this is even legally compliant with how bad it is. I did read on another board about USB earphones that I might try, but everyone in my company has sound quality issues, whether in house or at home so I'm not sure if I want to invest a lot of money in new headphones if it isn't going to help. Anyone use USB headphones with chartscript.net?

also, I realize we may be using an older version, but we have to use IE6 only. You can't even have 7 or 8 loaded on your computer. Since IE6 isn't supported by most websites these days I had to download Firefox to use for everything but Chartscript, which isn't a huge problem but I am lazy and always liked using the same for everything!

Chartscript and Chartnet are 2 different programs. - Curious

I have been using ChartNet for a few weeks now. My training was really brief, so I still have a lot to learn. With the way we do the headers (cnt-N) and subheaders (cnt-shift-N), there doesn't seem to be any way to paste large sections into the report to include headers and/or subheaders. Why is it that every time Chartnet has an update, things end up worse than before? Stuff that used to work doesn't work right anymore. And it doesn't accept 1-letter abbreviations. My biggest peeve with this is that I have to manually capitalize the word "I" and I didn't have to do that before. So annoying. When something works, don't fix it. Once in a while I mistakingly save a file before the voice file is done. I put in my first password in and then it tells me the voice file was not finished and all I can do is answer "OK" in the box. What I want to know if there is a way to go back and finish the file? The only thing I can do is split the file as if there was a separate dictation on the same voice file. I have recently started on ChartNet. I read reviews, which are mostly positive, and my question is why? I find it cumbersome with all the headings you have to make with the control/shift keys and entering, starting new headers, etc. Not very fluid at all (for me anyway). I am currently working for a company that uses Chartnet/M*Modal Editor and have had so many problems with my foot pedal working and a lot of other problems also.
