headers/footers pay - MTLady

Hi. InterPro pays 3.5 CPL for headers, footers and inserted normals. Also, however many characters you have to edit to correct or tweak the normal are paid at your regular CPL typing rate (whatever your pay is) Nuance pays for headers at the regular rate as if they were part of the document you typed or edited, but you have other issues there like too much VR/SR work that has to be heavily edited and should pay more than 1/2 the typed CPL rate. But there you have it- pros & cons to everything. I am intermediate-experienced, and I worked for 2 companies; they all paid SOMETHING for headers. Best of luck : )

TTS ad says they pay for spaces, headers, footers, anything produced is paid.
I know this has been here on the past but for some reason I still feel very suspicious about this. Can anyone enlighten me if we are paid for headers? I know somewhere around the time when they came out with the magnificient rewards plan I remember reading we do not get paid for headers that were not in their little Control-H box or whatever they call. If you had to make up a heading that was not in the headers box we did not get paid for this. Can anyone please let ...
Somehow turned off those pesky mandatory PE and DS headings on the left and cannot remember how or where to get them to turn back on. Anyone know? Thanks. ...
Any MTSOs pay for headers/footers on each document? If so, it is a flat number of lines per document, or is it the header and footer on every page? ...
I have a bunch of follow-up notes and the doc wants each note on a different page all in one document. The problem is some of these individiual notes end up being two pages. Anyone know how to make second page headers for each patient like this? I would like to keep the actual document header and not just space down under the header and put one in, if that makes sense. Oh, and it's Word 2003. Thank you! ...
I tried to verify my line counts by doing a copy and paste into word from their system. The only way I can come close is if I exclude all those "automatic" headers that are included in the templates. Does anyone else experience that? This really knocks a lot of characters out of my reports. ...
but I could absolutely swear I have an email from her ages ago that said we were. I may spend some of my vacation going through my 350,000 MQ emails to find this.
Does anyone really know. If we weren't; I'm really PO'd I spent any time on them. ...
I have gone through older posts and they are conflicting about this. Do they pay for headers and footers if you manually put them in? I can understand them not paying for automated headers (cheap, but many companies do it that way), but if you have to manually add them do they pay? ...
Before I shoot my mouth off, I just wanted to verify, and I can't get a straight answer from management. Is it REALLY REALLY REALLY true we do not get paid for demographic information/searching, cc searches and headers in text of report. Is that correct?? Thanks guys, I am fuming in the Southeast ...
Kind of stumped on this one. I just recently started working for a company that does both VR and straight typing. Luckily, have been doing more straight typing than VR, but noticed that after I did 20 or so reports my line counts were around 600-750 lines for those 20 reports. Well I found out that the headers are not counted in our lines even though we may have to enter a date and sometimes even the patient name. I was told by one of the supervisors that this is "now the ...
HELLPPPP...anyone good at figuring out how to make a template? client has a form that they sent and it has headers and footers each page. They have a separate letter form, consult form and chart note. Then there is a summation sheet at the beginning and STAT sheet at the end. They want all of this done in one long document, i.e. hard page break between each patient. I have played with this till blue in the face. If I try to put the plain summation sheet first, ...
I see many warnings about bogus companies but I need help to steer me to a good company or at least a company that is fair, hiring and gives a fair entrance test. any ideas? ...
Can anyone answer me why is it that these MT companies hire you and they all promise you the sun, moon and stars. Oh we have TONS of work. We guarantee you at least 11 accounts and 2,500 lines a day. Then you are sitting there 6 months later, waiting for jobs? I have experienced this many times. Can it be that its just bad management and they overhire? Does anyone know of a company that really does have TONS of work? I know this is the slow time of year, but many times its happened at othe ...
pay us hourly anymore anyway make us punch an electronic time clock? What's wrong with sending simple timesheets like we did for years? It has no effect on our pay whatsoever since we aren't hourly and is only to cover their butts regarding overtime, so why do they go through all the nightmare of eTime?! ...
The company I work for has gone VR (on most jobs). I cannot make any money doing this. My pay has been cut approximately $150 to $200 every two weeks. They have already taken away the incentives, and now if you screw up a couple of times on demographics, you do not get paid for the job, and the third or fourth time you are pulled from the account. I am just so frustrated. This VR is killing me. It takes more time to make corrections. It is frustrati ...
Can someone please point me to reputable links or companies who hire new (recently graduated/just out of school) transcriptionists? I don't want to apply to companies that aren't good to work for! Who are ones that you know of who hire right out of school and are good to work for? I need something!! I can't take it? I feel like I have applied to every company that I have found on the Internet with no response! Sorry if I'm venting, but it's just g ...
So, I see it all of the time, people on here complaining about no work, yet the company they are complaining about is HIRING. My job recently did this as well. I am day after day running out of work, but yet I see an ad that they are hiring! I e-mailed the owner and asked about it and she didn't reply. I UNDERSTAND that they are hiring for a different account, BUT, since it's all transcribing, why not just move some people around and give those extra accounts to ...
I got an email yesterday telling me that I didn't meet the quota of 10,000 lines for the last pay period... well, duh... There is not enough work. Today I get an email asking how many times I checked on a new account yesterday because they had issues and actually never went live at all. I responded to the email and my supervisor emails me back asking me if I'm hourly or on production. huh??????
No work this morning either... just sit ...
This is ridiculous! I just was rehired again after being away for 2 years and I'm thinking I made a mistake! I want to know if there are any other companies out there that let you JUST TYPE! Would love to hear from someone who has left and is working for a different company as I think I have one foot out the door! ...
Periodically, I will cruise the MT help wanted, and see some companies that list the system requirements as "must have XP." My question is this: I wonder if they mean must have at least XP or do they mean MUST HAVE XP. I find it difficult to believe that any system out there only works with XP, as Vista has been around for a good long while and even Windows 7 (which I wish DocQ would update to) has been out for a bit. I mean, it would be very difficult to find a computer ...
I am in need of a company that still uses FTP where you download a bunch of work at once, work on it, send it back, repeat :) If you know of anyone and do not wish to post it, please feel free to email me.
Thank you very much. ...
