I am glad to hear that you went to school for scoping. You have higher chance of finding good, steady work. I mean we all need money and what about savings? Most MT work doesn't pay enough to pay all bills and save money as well. I heard that some legal transcribers can end up with bad bosses when working as scopists. I wish you the best and glad to see you are not staying in MT work. Legal is better
