But what do they pay though. I started at 7 CPL in 2011. If they are at 7 to 8 CPL for straight type and 4 to 4.5 for voice rec editing, then it is not a good company. It doesn't matter if they treat you good, if they don't pay you well or what you're worth, then they don't truly appreciate you. Do you get an annual raise? Voice rec CPL that most companies are offering doesn't even make sense anyway. If a person is producing more work quicker, the company is making money faster, hence transcriptionists should be paid more as well.
