Arrendale - AJMRN

I worked here as part-time QA while working on BSN 2 to 3 days a week. QA manager scheduled mandatory meetings but she'd email on a day she knew I wouldn't be on for several days, so I would have hundreds of emails (because QA spoke directly to MTs, good company in that respect), so it'd take more than a day to get through emails on top of current emails, QAing, assigning work, etc... Chel kept changing when I was supposed to work, just hired PT, didn't ask for PT they only needed part-time. But, I had just finished my ASN, was a licensed RN...there is a reason I bring this up. I had no problem with anyone except Chel. Cindy mentioned Chel was in nursing school; when we were on phone I'd ask about microbiology or anatomy, what'd you think, etc. and she seemed oblivious. Then I find out this FT QA manager has 6 children and is also in nursing school. There is absolutely no way you can go to 8-hour lectures 4 months solid 4 days a week each semester and/or 8-hour hospital shift plus work 8-hour M-F FT job. I knew that. She then knew I knew that. Chel kept changing my 2 to 3 days, when I worked, when I was off. Those emails would have 50 emails between and I just didn't make enough to read 100 emails on days off. Cindy was the boss. She was nice, no problem there either. But she said Chel was complaining I wasn't on when I was supposed to be. I told her what was happening (but not telling her Chel can't possibly be in nursing school and Chel knows I know it so she's making it impossible for me to know when I work). I lost that job because of that. Cindy didn't even know why she was going to let me go, I told her everything but the no-RN school, she said she never hesitated before...called me 2 days later and said she had to let me go, stick with her first decision. I wanted to tell her what was happening but only a PT job so wasn't going to fight for it and certainly didn't want to work with Chel. EVERYONE else was great. I typed some too, in addition to PT QA, and I know account they're talking about...this was about 9 years ago and it was very busy, British for sure, need to use 'organised', etc., my only hesitation is being in this industry for 29 years is the type of account and type of volume may mean that account will go voice rec. I do NOT know this, just be prepared because volume high and those are usually the first to go to VR, but accounts were good there, in my opinion, Cindy was great, everyone was great except that one person and some of the girls may seem little scatter-brained (aren't we all sometimes) but it was a good place to work.
