I would not really worry about them firing you. I highly doubt that would happen since you have been with them for 9 years and who would train their new transcriptionist anyway? Good transcriptionists with work ethics are hard to find these days. Trust me, I have been on the hiring end. Do exactly as you said you wanted to, leave blanks and flag as inaudible. Your time is valuable, and sounds like they have too much time on their hands, so let him/her fix their crap. Best of luck!
