I am 77 and have been working at Brookdale Senior Living for 5 years as a receptionist, part time. Like you, I felt desperate and then a whole new world opened up to me, working with seniors. I also work as a caregiver for a local agency and it is a cake job and good money. Just start looking around and stop wasting your time on this horrible, no pay, no benefits, no taxes, etc. job. They should all burn in hades.
