37-plus years at the same place, albeit since 2018 it's been decimated. Hanging in with my 2 co-workers until we're gone. Just started FFT with MModal yesterday and it's been a nightmare. This actually might be the end of us. While I'd like to retire, even at my age it's just not financially possible. Shoulda done something about that earlier, but it is what it is. I feel for all us MTs out there; once a decent to even well-paying job, now lost to technology. Whether this technology is good in the log term...Not the first job to be lost to technology and certainly not the last. I'd like to work as long as I can, but wonder if that is even possible anymore.
