I seem to recall trying to work out a Contract with a woman in Texas. She was always cordial, pleasant, and seemed like "everything was under control" over at her place.
Then I got the boot from her. Her boot letter was like a form letter and it was on the vague side. It was just as well that it didn't work out. There very well may have been something questionable going on despite the engaging Texas drawl.
This was a super long time ago. I may be recalling that they paid once monthly -- with one month's withholding...? Gosh, I hope not -- that's plain larcenous ;-(
