Medical Coding Academy out of Texas - Lea

The ship has not sailed. Ever since Covid, coding is booming. There are a ton of jobs. I am getting offers of 70k per year. I see many jobs advertised at over 30 per hour and if you get into clinical documentation, you can earn 40+ dollars per hour.

It is hard to break into but persistence pays off! You can get onto Optum through The Judge Group and CSI during their hiring sprees for risk adjustment coding. Risk adjustment coding is just ICD10 coding. They will hire you new if you are credentialed. A lot of people apply and you may have to apply a few times a year, but once you are in, you are set! Or you could look for other opportunities where newly credentialed coders are hired. They do pop up. Having a medical transcription background will help.
