I don't know anything about this company but I thought the requirements for the position were rather stringent, i.e., the production. My opinion is that QA staff should be paid by the hour. I didn't see anything misleading about the benefits statement; it clearly states that full-time employees receive benefits and it also states that the job is part-time, so most people would figure that out. Many part-time jobs offer limited or no benefits so it's nothing unusual. There are so few employee positions available now (not IC)`that someone who just needs supplemental income and already has health insurance through their spouse or Medicare might be interested. Something that you consider to be a bad fit might work well for someone else.
