This forum has become such a drag in the last few years that I normally just pop in every once in a while now. I really enjoy the job I have as a scribe. Overtime pay is nice. The job isn’t stressful as I’m paid by the hour. I enjoy hearing the full office visit and the discussion between the doctor and patient. I still have an MT job on the side too. I’m able to pay my bills without any worries now and I have PTO time and short and long term disability and medical insurance and more that all gives me peace of mind. I can’t work a job where I’m on my feet due to some pretty bad joint issues and autoimmune illnesses. Also, I enjoy not working around people or with customers or people in general. I did that for 20 years. No thanks. Lol. I shouldn’t have to explain that to anyone really but here we are. Thank you for your kind words. It’s a rarity on this forum for someone to have a positive comment and I do appreciate it.
