I have at times been so impovershed as an MT I kid you not I have made dandelion coffee -- dug dandelion roots, roasted them in the oven, and ground them to make coffee. I actually love the taste and it's great for you, just a Looot Of Work. Now I have a better-paying semi-MT job that is so stressful that I too often let my coffee get cold or not drink it at all, or water even...the dehydration has resulted in kidney stones. Be sure to hydrate really well!! Who knew?
