However, an average MT can transcribe 120 minutes if audio in an 8 hour day. You can do the math, but I think that’s about $12 an hour if the audio files are good and it’s straight typing, but there are a lot of variables. I personally don’t think it’s a very good rate, but everyone has their own expectations.
