I've been having problems with my Infinity USB foot pedal. As I play files in Express Scribe, when I lift my foot off the pedal the audio continues on for a couple of seconds. Then I have to back it up, and sometimes when I push the pedal it won't go again. I have to push it several times to get it to go. Also, sometimes when I try to rewind it will get "stuck" and rewind quite a ways back before I can get it to stop. All of this is very annoying and it's hurting my production.
I opened the foot pedal and blew out all the dust and dog hair. That didn't solve the problem so I bought a new foot pedal. Same issues with the new pedal. I called them and they said to try updating my Express Scribe. So I did that as well. Still not fixed!
This is getting very frustrating, not to mention expensive. Does anyone have any other solutions? I'm running out of ideas and sanity.
