I did a lot of reading and watching videos. From what I see, the easiest thing to do is open the case and tear everything out. Cut everything up, scratch it up deeply enough to cause deep gouges if you can't cut it up, and throw it all away. I did that with an old computer I had. It was actually fun, got a lot of frustration out.
