The immediate financial damage - is bad enough

but what about the long-term effects of not having payroll deductions handled on time and/or processed correctly from earned wages, things like

Income tax.
Social security tax.
401(k) contributions, etc.

I'd be wondering about how this could affect Social Security calculations for the future if pay is incorrect or never even processed. What an ordeal having to seek legal counsel in order to have things made right and to finally receive your hard-earned pay! I hope the others will take your advice to heart...
