I currently work as an IC for a single client (not a national company). I charge X per line but they are going to EMR shortly and are wanting me to type into the EMR from dictation instead of into a word document/paper chart like I've been doing.
Has anyone done this kind of switch? I'm wondering how to restructure the pay scale because I'm not sure how billing per line will work out with having to type in different boxes into EMR.
Would appreciate any and all help with this. Thanks in advance!
