There are supposedly on-site MTs for some clients and Nuance does their overflow. I don't know if this is true or not. I have wondered if it is really Nuance India gets the work first. I think we get the spillage of poor dictators or account specs that are too difficult for India to understand or comply with on a regular basis.
Keep in mind also that a lot of the vendors here in the US are essentially India-owned, they just hang a shutter here in some city so they can get MTs to do the horrible dictators. I put up with bad dictators, audio issues, mumblers, the "specials" who want things a certain way no matter what, etc. We get the worst of the worst, that's it.
