These concepts are repugnant. What is "stampeding anywhere go get in front of the line" supposed to mean? If you're suggesting someone advised "stampeding" please cite the post. If it means what I think it's pure histrionics.

What you saw was disgust, not anger. No one was "lashing out."

People have gone along with being misclassified for years. Now there's some "crisis," and the knee-jerk reaction is to profit from it.
