The SOS e-mails are for TAT so she does not get fined from Nuance. Nuance has total control over the workload. There is nothing she can do but send out SOS e-mails, get the work done, and then beg for more work, but Nuance is being picky about who they give work to and I'm assuming she's not top on their list, which is why she now has Fluency accounts. She's in bed with both of those companies.
A lot of these MTSOs are in with Nuance and don't even have their own accounts any longer. They only just do Nuance work. Now MModal is laying people off and sending their work to MTSOs to hire ICs to do the work for very little money, no benefits, etc.
