I have nearly 20 years of experience, but I don't mind testing to prove my skills if that is what is required in order to secure the job. However, what I do have a problem with is companies who outright refuse to disclose any information regarding pay or any other important details about the job until after you have taken the time to test. Our time is just as valuable as theirs and we have every right to know that information beforehand so we can decide whether it pays enough to make it worth testing for. That is just sneaky and shady to me.
