Let’s say you get paid 8 cents a line (0.8). If you typed 100 lines at 8 cents a line, you have made 8 dollars. If you type 100 lines at your rate of 0.8 cents line plus you add 0.002 cents onto it, you would make 8 dollars and 20 cents. 0.002 x 100 equals 20 cents.
