I might also be moving to a non-cable internet area and in my research I've found that possibly DSL is more widely available than I first realized. While DSL isn't as fast as cable, (avg 5-35 Mpbs), you wouldn't have the drop-out issues that satellite might present. It has been my understanding that transcription platforms freak out because there is a lag in the file transfers, and the security stuff kicks in an disconnects you from the platform. I have also heard that not all platforms have issues with satellite connections. Best of luck to you with figuring this out!
