That makes sense. Unfortunately, I've been working at that rate as an IC for 12 years now. Can't seem to do any better. But it's not minimum wage, that's for sure. I'd never survive! I have many personal reasons for needing to work from home and hence accepting this rate of pay (which is crappy, I agree!), and I'm working on getting out of the biz, but it will be a year or two before I can do that. Thanks for your response. If the work isn't steady enough, I would definitely not bother.
