about this in relation to a job situation. I could only think of HIPPA examples where maybe you had to decide whether a patient's privacy might be at risk. So many times doctors or other providers unintentionally place a patient's privacy in jeopardy by requesting their health care and treatment information be faxed or mailed to a wrong address or some other questionable location. These incidents are considered HIPPA violations if carried out as requested. So good judgment and clear reasoning would lead you to not follow through on such a request until further investigated by QA, where the matter could be further clarified with the doctor or provider.
