Applicants - about my post - Trish

Thank you for your support! I greatly appreciate it.

Just for the general population, my post certainly was not meant to be rude or condescending (which many of the responses are). It was written in frustration of going through many emailed applications with the resume all named the same way, many from applicants who have none of the specific experience we need for the position.

I've been doing transcription since 1971 (yes, I'm an oldie) and started Multisource in 2001. Since 2001 we have provided paid training positions to numerous students from Career Step and Emily Griffith in Denver and have retained many of those transcriptionists over many years. We've even had some who retired after having been with us their whole career. We also take great care to respond to every applicant to acknowledge receipt, to offer them the opportunity to test for the specific opening, or to let them know they did not qualify. If the email goes astray or ends up in their junk mail, I cannot help that. If I get no response, the presumption is that they are no longer interested.

In past years I was very active on MTStars but eventually grew tired of the bitter diatribe. So, that's me, in a nutshell. I will continue to post openings for IC's because I do know there are many excellent transcriptionists looking for work, but I'll try very hard to avoid getting involved in the nonsense.
