If all of these smaller MTSOs would refuse to have their employees or ICs use VDI, then Nuance would have NO PLACE to DUMP their transcription, which is what they are doing. Nuance wants out of transcription eventually but in the meantime they still want all the control, and they do not care about a huge wage drop for anyone working or attempting to work in VDI. The MTSOs see $$$ signs/more accounts and they simply do not care about MTs or how hard they have to work to make less than minimum wage. In their minds, "if you don't like it, go some place else but that's all we're paying you." So, these smaller MTSOs continue on hiring sprees, over and over again, posting their ads, having a huge turnover of MTs all the time because most of us just work under these circumstances until we find something else.
