After 16 years, it is with great sadness that we announce the closure of MediLexicon.
Created in 2003, MediLexicon has been the source of medical abbreviations, nomenclature and terminology for tens of millions of health care professionals, patients, families and students the world over.
During the past 16 years we have seen the landscape of online medical information evolve from simple informational listings, to complex, full-fledged communities built around specific health conditions, topics and needs - for both health care professionals and others alike. We are proud to have been part of this evolution but it is now time for us to say goodbye.
We wholeheartedly thank you for your support and encourage you to visit our sister websites Medical News Today, Healthline and Greatist.
Thank you,
