I have noticed lots of dislikes for reasons - I do not understand

I think they put the like/dislike feature on this site to be like Facebook. I think it's a useless feature because likes and dislikes are so subjective. We really have to train ourselves not to pay any attention to this feature; and yes, some people must get their jollies by disliking everything. We just have to start ignoring them.
