This is already an M*MODAL company policy. There is even a PDF file about it. They created the policy so ALL would follow the same thing. If there are still managers or supervisors NOT following COMPANY policy, they are in the wrong and should be reported. Aquity has not changed anything (to date) regarding this, so it is still in force. Perhaps some managers have actually not bothered to even "read" the company policies on this matter? Perhaps some like to pretend they are little gods and can make up their own rules for their "own team" to be required to follow. It is a power trip for them. Regardless, they are just flat out wrong. It is so clearly stated in company policies. They have to get whatever you turn in for NJA time approved from someone ABOVE their head, so I would be turning it in regardless and sending a copy of the PDF file to your supervisor asking her/him to then explain WHY there seems to be a discrepancy at all.
