who have lost their jobs to outsourcing/offshoring. There is a long process that needs to be followed to see if you are approved for re-training which the government will pay for. For example, iMedX let many people go over the last year or so through no fault of their own and most of those people are eligible for retraining but they have to apply for it. This is all done through the UE office. You have to show proof that your job was lost due to offshoring/outsourcing and the DOL will do an investigation of the company. There has to be an open, certified claim against the company and there is one for iMedX.
