That is what I did, took SS at 62 and I did keep working as an MT, but when VDI came on board, I finally got out. I found a PT job as a receptionist and love it and I am an employee!!!! No more IC, no more line counts, no more QA, no more ESLs and everything else that this job has become. There is life out there. Good luck to you! Hang in there, but don't be afraid to start looking around now for something else, perhaps you might get lucky. Then again, anything is better than this job.
