Really? Just because you're okay with paying your bills a few days late every month and can afford it doesn't make it right. As long as it doesn't affect you, you're fine with it. That is crazy.

This is not rocket science! You work, you get paid, that's all. This is illegal, and I'm shocked it has been going on for so long, but I guess we teach people how to treat us, and as long as people don't mind being paid late every month it will continue to happen.
