Paying you late is being "good" to you? - Wow

Do you even hear yourself? And how do you "know" you will be paid? I can't believe ANYONE would be okay with being paid late (especially an entire week late), regardless of whether you can financially manage it or not. Stop making excuses for this company. It's people like you who are part of the problem. What they are doing is WRONG and it's ILLEGAL.
