If everyone would agree to not work for peanuts, I.e., 4 CPL or 8 CPL and begin demanding at least 9 CPL (for editing) and 12 CPL (straight Transcription), the profession would be elevated where people could actually afford to live. Transcription is slave labor these days and yet people continue to do it. Don't work for peanuts!!!
