If you are signing into a different platform, with different - accts. that have no connection to Nuance Posted: Nov 25th, 2018 - 6:33 pm In Reply to: VDI - incompatible? - mls
you should be able to get into those accts without a problem. What you do need to remember, if you had VDI installed through Nuance, the contract your signed specifically stated that you gave them permission to "scan" and go through every single thing they want to on your system, without asking you before, at any time Nuance wants.
Proceed at your own risk, as you have no idea what they are looking at or when. Nuance is also using pirated or substandard programs - so much for security.
You will have the cheerleader show up telling you VDI must be on and logged in and that Nuance is restricted in access; that is simply not true. Common sense thought - if that were the case, why would Nuance point blank make you sign a contract specifically telling you that Nuance can (and will) look at anything on your system, AT ANY TIME WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION BEFORE HAND, and turn you into authorities if they deem it necessary if they are ONLY looking at and ONLY have access to the accts you work on for Nuance?
