Possibly the change in accounts is the difference in your line counts from company to company?
I've worked on voice rec accounts where I make $23 an hour and voice rec accounts where I make $8 an hour.
I refuse to work on the $8 an hour accounts. Not worth my time and I tell the MTSO to remove me from those kind of accounts.
It's up to all of us to refuse accounts that don't net us enough money to cover our expenses as ICs. We have to have enough money to cover our insurances, retirements, etc.
Aside from that, I've never had trouble at TTC, and they have always paid on time or even early. I've enjoyed working there, but hopefully that won't change with Nuance tighening their tentacles around their outsource companies.
