Don't forget about headings, especially if there is special formatting, like all caps & bold.
Brand-name meds, especially if there are dashes or multiple capital letters; then you don't have to always stop to check if you've got it right.
Also, anything that can be written as an abbreviation or spelled out. For example: COPD (shortcut copd) but if you want to spell it out use copdx (x for expand). But use whatever works for you.
Learn the keys you can use instead of the mouse. Pick up a couple at a time and when they become automatic, add more.
Ask if the company has a list of providers, names of hospitals, etc. If not, start your own. I put mine in Excel. I just keep adding to the list (I print a copy) and then add all the new handwritten entries into the Excel list. Then you can arrange the list alphabetically and print it out again.
You are probably already doing some of these things, but I hope I've been able to give you a couple more ideas. Good luck!
