I have worked as an MA in a doctor's office. The reason they have someone in there if there is a female has everything to do with malpractice and getting sued for inappropriate behavior etc. I don't go to the doctor but I am a very private person and wouldn't want some little geek that wasnt trained in there with the doctor. If you go on YouTube there are actual videos of remote scribes working and interacting with the doctor and it is really interesting. However, being you have to have all that knowledge etc I find it hard to believe anyone would pay just 3 to 4 CPL ridiculous
