Do you know how sick and tired I am of hearing that phrase?  And I'd like to slap the stupid people who use it. 

If our work was so desperately vital and critical to a patient's survival, then the hospitals would have kept us in house at decent wages, instead of farming the work out to MTSOs and India for pennies.
