Is is just me...or am I - really old fashioned to

still believe there is a difference between brought and taken.

After an operation, the patient is not brought to the recovery room, the patient is taken from the operating room to the recovery room.    

As part of the "sputnik" generation, I had a whole 7th grade class devoted to grammar.  I don't think people from the "me" generation of education (let's not teach anyone anything too taxing to avoid making them feel bad about themselves) giveacrap about this distinction.

I'm too old to do this job.
