You're completely correct, except the MTSOs aren't charging the hospitals. Nuance is writing the contracts on both sides: they write the contracts with the hospitals, and they also write the contracts with the desperate MTSOs whose business has dried up. They're calling all the shots and forcing MTSOs to comply with their rock-bottom rates and unethical practices just to stay in business. And all along Nuance still gets its "cut" for the technology, IT support, QA support, and contract fees. It's Nuance that has absolutely wrecked this industry. If all MTSOs refused to do the work for Nuance (and stop abusing the MTs), Nuance would have to do the work at the prices they've agreed to, and they'd go bankrupt. They can't do the work and make any money, which is why they're farming it out. They need to be investigated by the DOJ!!!
